So far, The Evil Within just feels like another zombie game. Though you can really tell it was by the creators of Resident Evil. Over-the-top action sequences, unnecessary amounts of gore (s giant tub of blood is highly unnecessary), and the amusing moments of clipping through graphics.

The only “scary” part was the Chainsaw Man so far. :// Even then, I don’t imagine this to be a very “scary” horror game. Damn.. I got excited when I heard it was specifically designed for horror. It’s relying on overused tropes so far.
